NYSAA CBT: Technical Issues- Supports and Assistance Document

The document below is to assist to individuals who are administering the ELA and Math NYSAA in the event that a technical issue is experienced during test administration.

Several potential technical issues are identified, as well as possible causes, guidance on whether to stop testing, and steps to resolve the issue.

Because of the varied technical support structures present in New York State, this document is also attached as a Word document in order to allow for local customization.  For example, districts may want to replace the generic "contact local technical support" with specific names and/or phone numbers of individuals who should be contacted in the event of an issue.
