NYSED has launched CBTSupport.nysed.gov, a Help Center on Computer-Based Testing. Similar to datasupport.nysed.gov, users will be able to ask questions on, and to find information, resources, FAQs, and training materials related to all P-12 CBT initiatives in New York. NYSED is currently working to migrate all of the information on NYSAA to the new site, and is adding more information to CBTSupport.nysed.gov on a regular basis. In addition, email inquiries should now be sent to CBTSupport@nysed.gov instead of email@example.com.
Testing Window Opens on Monday
The NYSAA administration window opens on Monday, March 21st. Please provide NYSED with feedback so we can troubleshoot accordingly.
Double Rostering Requests submitted through the service desk
When District Test Coordinators and Building Test Coordinators need to email the service desk for support, please use the subject line of DOUBLE ROSTER. The service desk will be able to route the issue using the subject line and provide the necessary procedure. This includes requesting the link for the secure transmission of PII via the data lockdown templates.
Technical Issues: Supports and Assistance
NYSED has released a document, titled "Technical Issues: Supports and Assistance," to assist individuals who are administering the CBT portions of the NYSAA in the event that a technical issue is experienced during test administration.
The document identifies several potential technical issues, possible causes, guidance on whether to stop testing, and steps to resolve the issue.
Because of the varied technical support structures present in New York State, this document is available as a Word .doc to allow for local customization. For example, districts may want to replace the generic "contact local technical support" with specific names and/or phone numbers of individuals who should be contacted in the event of an issue.

Availability of the Preview Administration Site
The preview administration site will be available until Friday, March 25th at 5 PM EST. At that time, the training environment will close so that the system can be transitioned to the test administration system used for the 2016 Grades 3-8 ELA and Math Stand Alone Computer-Based Field Tests.
Any changes made within the preview administration site, such as changes to the district test coordinator, will not be carried over and will need to be made in the live system.
