Effective Monday, April 18th all NYSAA ELA and Math data change requests must be submitted to cbtsupport@nysed.gov.  This includes sending all open/pending data requests that have already been submitted to the DLM service desk.  Please see below for additional details.

  1. Data requests must be submitted via an email to  cbtsupport@nysed.gov with the subject line of NYSAA Data Lockdown.
  2. DLM data lockdown templates are required (https://cbtsupport.nysed.gov/hc/en-us/articles/208195306-Link-to-Data-Lockdown-Templates) and must be uploaded to the IRSP. Please see the following link for more information on the IRSP and how to delegate access to users: http://www.p12.nysed.gov/irs/irs-portal/.

Please use the following as an example:  “MiddleDistrict_educator_portal_changes.xls”
  4. Data requests submitted to the DLM service desk will be responded to by providing  the context of this email to advise users to submit tickets to cbtsupport@nysed.gov.

3-8 Computer-Based Field Tests

Districts received access to the live Nextera Administration System on April 11th.  If the District Test Coordinator did not receive an email, please contact cbtsupport@nysed.gov or Questar customer support at NY.3-8.help@questarai.com or 1-866-997-0695.

Questar customer support will not create new District Test Coordinators or new user accounts.  If you need to change your District Test Coordinator, please refer to this information https://cbtsupport.nysed.gov/hc/en-us/articles/207999456-Who-is-the-3-8-District-Test-Coordinator-in-my-district-How-do-I-change-the-District-Test-Coordinator-Updated-4-8-2016-

If a district user needs an account, he or she must go through the District Test Coordinator.

Please do not add teacher accounts in the Administration System until after NYSED loads student and teacher data into the system, targeted for the week of April 25th. Additional information about teacher access will be provided later this month.

The Secure Browser is now available to all districts and schools through the live Administration System. The Secure Browser must be installed following all directions in the Setup and Installation Guide to ensure a secure testing environment. The Setup and Installation Guide is available here http://www.nysed.gov/common/nysed/files/programs/edtech/setup_installation_guide_ny_spring_2016.pdf

NYSED and Questar will continue to release short video tutorials to help schools prepare for computer-based testing.  All videos are available here http://www.nysed.gov/edtech/schools/video-tutorials.
