Sign up for Email Alerting to cbtsupport@nysed.gov by "following" a section and receive an email notification when new content is added.
A cbtsupport account must be set up in order to take advantage of this new feature.
If you don't already have an account, follow these steps to set one up*:
- Click on the 'Sign In' button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Click on the 'Sign up' link that follows "New to Computer Based Testing?"
- Fill in the full name and email fields.
- Check the box next to "I'm not a robot". A green check mark will appear.
- Click the black 'Sign up' bar.
- A message will appear indicating that an email has been sent.
- Check your email and open the message from Computer Based Testing.
- Click the link to create a password and login.
Follow these steps to Follow a Section:
- Navigate to the Section you wish to follow (i.e. Announcements)
- Click on the blue "Follow" button.
- Choose "New Articles".
Please note that you must be logged into CBTsupport (follow instructions on setting up an account above) in order to set yourself up to receive automated announcements of new postings AND to be able to see which sections you are already setup to follow.
You also must set the “Follow” feature up within each separate category.
