CBT Weekly Updates Call, 2/23/18
- The student data has been loaded to Nextera Admin:
- Schools can begin creating classes and organizing students into classes
- Schools can begin setting student testing accommodations
- Schools should not be setting Not Tested Codes yet (but they do have that ability)
- Fake Teacher Accounts: Questar created fake teacher accounts to be associated to each Pre-ID student class that was loaded.
- They have removed the email address and are working on tips for how a school can use that account.
- There are two options for schools to use the Pre-ID classes:
- One: Create a new “teacher” account to associate to the Pre-ID class.
- Two: Edit the teacher account to add an email address.
- Activate the account.
- Have the user log in with the numerical user ID associated to the Pre-ID class.
- The user can change the username by navigating to the user’s Profile page (the user’s name link on the upper right of Nextera Admin).
- Student Reporting Reminder: In student download reports from Nextera Admin, students are listed each time for a testing accommodation, so a student with three testing accommodations will appear on three rows in the report.
- Tentative Date: The Tests tab will be open for printing student login tickets for operational CBT ELA on Wednesday, March 21.
- We are working on a January to April monthly checklist to post this afternoon that will indicate what should be done by month in the next few months to prepare for CBT.
- UPDATE: The checklist has been posted!
