Resource: Templates for Creating NY Statewide CBT Simulation Student Login Tickets

To assist schools that are participating in the Statewide CBT Simulations on February 26 and March 5, 2019, you will find templates for printing login tickets to hand out to students. These login ticket templates use the already-available Questar Secure Browser practice test usernames and passwords. Schools can create their own login tickets with the available Secure Browser practice test logins or use the templates. We have filled in the usernames and passwords on the login tickets to simplify your preparation for the upcoming Statewide CBT Simulation.

Logins are available for both subjects and every grade level and also for all testing accommodations, including alternate languages for CBT math. There is no option for multiple testing accommodations within in the CBT practice tests.

The templates follow the format shown below with two columns of five login tickets on each page. The templates are posted in Word so that schools can edit them, if needed. We have added fields we believe may be helpful, such as indicating which practice test the student will click on when navigating into the Secure Browser practice tests.

Example of Simulation Login Tickets for Grade 5 Math, no testing accommodation:

Example of Simulation Login Tickets for Grade 3 ELA, Text-to-Speech (TTS):

Login tickets for the simulation should be printed and then distributed to Proctors on the morning of the CBT simulation to mimic the day of operational CBT when secure materials packets will be distributed to CBT testing rooms.

We recommend, as a best practice, that Proctors have students write their computer name on the login ticket.

There is no rostering of students in Nextera Admin for the CBT simulation, so student names and student NYSSIS IDs do not appear on the student login tickets. However, student names and NYSSIS ID's are populated for all operational CBT login tickets.

Schools can print as many student login tickets as they need. You will find attached to this article, CBT Simulation login tickets in each .zip file for the following:
