The student usernames and passwords are the same for Session 1 and Session 2 within a content area administration (ELA or Math). However, the test session Access Codes are different for Session 1 and Session 2. You should collect student login tickets at the end of Session 1 and place them in the school safe overnight for security purposes.
For Operational CBT ELA, the usernames and passwords are the same for student login tickets for Session 1 and Session 2. You can use the same login tickets for both days of operational ELA.
- Operational CBT ELA passwords are alphanumeric.
- The access code will be different for each session.
- EXCEPTION: passwords can be subject to change if a testing accommodation is set AFTER the student login ticket is printed.
For Operational CBT math, the usernames and passwords are the same for student login tickets for Session 1 and Session 2. You can use the same login tickets for both days of operational math.
- Operational CBT math passwords can be alphanumeric or numeric only.
- Operational CBT math passwords are numeric only for students testing in an alternate language.
- The access code will be different for each session.
- EXCEPTION: passwords can be subject to change if a testing accommodation is set AFTER the student login ticket is printed.
Guidance from the School Administrator's Manual (SAM):
1. All student login tickets or labels are secure testing materials and must also be stored in the safe or vault if they are printed prior to administration (page A-77).
2. For CBT administration, after the conclusion of the test, securely destroy all used scratch paper, printed student login credentials, session access codes and proctor PINs (page 7).
