Questar advises the Nextera systems are working well this morning and yesterday's good CBT testing experience will continue today for students in New York State.
Yesterday, the Commissioner released a statement on nysed.gov about CBT testing that resumed on Thursday, 4/4/19. She shared that CBT went well for students throughout the state. There were more than 73,000 students testing on Thursday, 4/4/19 with our peak simultaneous students testing just over 30,000 students.
Continue with Limited Grade Level/Student Testing Today
We want to thank all of our schools for helping us to approach resumed CBT testing cautiously with a staggered approach, limiting the number of simultaneous students testing throughout the state.
We will continue to be flexible, and we ask that schools continue with the current CBT plans they developed after guidance was shared on Wednesday 4/3/19.
The Commissioner advised the following for next week: “On Monday, all schools may resume CBT as they choose and continue for the remainder of the testing period through April 12.”
