Questar advises the Nextera systems are working well this morning and students will have a good testing experience in New York State today. Schools continued to report a positive testing experience for students across the state yesterday.
The computer-based testing (CBT) English Language Arts (ELA) administration has been extended to the end of the day on Friday, April 12, 2019. Schools can administer makeup CBT testing at any time within a CBT administration window as soon as the primary testing for a CBT grade level is complete.
IMPORTANT: Students should never be asked to retake a Grades 3-8 ELA and math assessment. If there is an issue on your end with a student's test session or responses--please call Questar Customer Service immediately to report the issue and receive guidance: 866-997-0695 (email: NY.firstname.lastname@example.org).
Schools must review all student data on Nextera Admin to ensure all student test sessions are complete or marked with a "Not Tested" code by Wednesday, April 17, 2019. At the end of the day 4/17/19, Questar will "pull" all student data from Nextera Admin for the CBT ELA administration to begin working on student scoring data.
